Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced MRI Technologist to perform routine and specialized Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of diagnostic MRI principles, procedures, views, and equipment, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:- Competently perform routine and specialized MRI procedures to produce high-quality images.
- Work independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures.
- Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety.
- May also be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or helping orient other staff to the department.
- Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or Magnetic Resonance Program.
- CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist or ARMRIT-Certified MRI Technologist or ARRT (MRI) - Radiography - American Register of Radiologic Technologists.
- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
- 5 years of recent relevant experience.
- ARRT (MR) (CT) certification.
- Experience responding to traumas and various hospital emergencies.
This is a per diem position, and the schedule will vary. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing assignments and working within standardized policies and procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
