The Relationship Banker is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients, building strong relationships, and delivering personalized financial solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of banking products and services, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personalized customer service, building relationships with clients and delivering solutions to their financial needs.
- Open new accounts, process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and other transactions accurately and timely.
- Process loan applications accurately and timely.
- Identify customer needs and provide information on products and services that meet those needs.
- Cross-sell bank products and services that meet customers' needs.
- Monitor customer activity for suspicious and fraudulent activity.
- Refer customers to Bank business partners who are able to provide solutions for their financial needs.
- Maintain essential controls and safeguards while opening and closing the branch.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of one year of banking experience in a customer contact position with emphasis on sales of products and services required.
- Minimum one year of cash handling experience required.
- Previous lending experience preferred.
- Notary Public certification within 30 days is required.
- At least three years of retail banking experience in a customer contact position with emphasis on sales of products and services.
- At least three years of underwriting/loan decision experience.
- Signature Medallion within 90 days is required.

Hours vary between 7:45 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Monday Friday and every other Saturday from 8:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and is subject to the required registration process, which includes a criminal background check and credit check. Failure to meet or maintain requirements, including maintaining a satisfactory criminal and credit record, may result in a rescission of your offer or termination of employment.
