Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized customer service, building relationships with clients and delivering solutions to their financial needs.
  • Open new accounts, process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and other transactions accurately and timely.
  • Process loan applications accurately and timely.
  • Identify customer needs and provide information on products and services that meet those needs.
  • Cross-sell bank products and services that meet customers' needs.
  • Monitor customer activity for suspicious and fraudulent activity.
  • Refer customers to Bank business partners who are able to provide solutions for their financial needs.
  • Maintain essential controls and safeguards while opening and closing the branch.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of banking experience in a customer contact position with emphasis on sales of products and services required.
  • Minimum one year of cash handling experience required.
  • Previous lending experience preferred.
  • Notary Public certification within 30 days is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least three years of retail banking experience in a customer contact position with emphasis on sales of products and services.
  • At least three years of underwriting/loan decision experience.
  • Signature Medallion within 90 days is required.

Work Schedule

Hours vary between 7:45 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. Monday Friday and every other Saturday from 8:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and is subject to the required registration process, which includes a criminal background check and credit check.
