Main Responsibilities
  • Report to Senior Director of Policy: Develop and implement federal advocacy strategies to advance the United Way network's public policy agenda at the national level.
  • Support Advocacy Events: Participate in United Way network advocacy events to advance our federal policy agenda, including our annual Advocacy Forum and Capitol Hill Day.
  • Develop Advocacy Messages: Craft persuasive internal and external communications to support legislative advocacy.
  • Build Relationships: Collaborate with Public Policy team members to build/enhance relationships with legislative staff and federal agency staff and leadership to support our public policy agenda.
