Job Overview

At Sri Ganesh Inc, we provide comprehensive services for a variety of pets. We are currently seeking both full-time and part-time Animal Care Technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome clients and gather their contact details along with their pets' medical histories.
  • Assist in bringing pets to the treatment area and help restrain them during initial health evaluations.
  • Support veterinarians during examinations, surgical procedures, and other medical tasks.
  • Perform basic care duties, including cleaning and dressing wounds, administering medications, collecting samples, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Assist with diagnostic imaging and laboratory work, such as blood tests and urine analysis.
  • Provide clients with essential vaccine information regarding their pets.
  • Ensure tools are sterilized and examination and operating rooms are restocked.
  • Educate pet owners about at-home care for their animals.
  • Maintain patient records and handle various administrative tasks as needed.

Reception Duties:

  • Answer phone calls courteously, collect necessary information, and schedule appointments.
  • Greet clients warmly and provide them with required information.
  • Manage emails promptly and efficiently.
  • Offer basic information to clients regarding their appointments.
  • Thoroughly check emails and support software, responding appropriately.
  • Keep the reception area clean and organized.
  • Check in and check out clients and their pets as needed.
  • Process payments and provide receipts, assisting clients with follow-up appointments.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a veterinary setting.
  • Strong passion for working with animals.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to restrain larger animals when necessary.
  • Proficient in multitasking, prioritizing, and managing time effectively.
  • Flexible availability.
