Position Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Emergency Services Technician is to execute various patient care tasks to support the Emergency Department Nursing staff and physicians while addressing the personal needs of patients.
The Emergency Services Technician engages in non-clinical duties and other unit responsibilities as assigned by the Staff RN to enhance the interdisciplinary care team.
This role involves variable shifts.Job Details:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent education/experience is mandatory.
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES
Basic Life Support Certification - BLS is essential.
Emergency Medical Technician - EMT certification is required.
OR Licensed Paramedic - LP certification is acceptable.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Experience in an acute care hospital setting as an Emergency Services Technician or similar role is preferred.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Comprehensive understanding of medical terminology.
Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of nursing staff and physicians, providing assistance in a resourceful manner.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Work Schedule:
Day/Evening/Night shifts available.

Compensation ranges from $30.74 to $38.60 per hour.
The salary range for this position may vary based on location and other factors.
This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled.

Base pay is just one component of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles may also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
