Training Opportunities: Facility is open to training new staff.

Educational Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited RN program is mandatory.

Experience Requirements: A minimum of one year in a supervisory role is preferred. Facility is open to training new staff.

Licensure and Certification: Current New York State RN license required. CPR, Accucheck, and IV Therapy certifications are also necessary. Facility is open to training new staff.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  1. Act as a resource for staff in clinical and managerial decision-making, delegating tasks as necessary.
  2. Engage in and ensure thorough assessments of residents, validating clinical decisions made by nursing staff.
  3. Contribute to the creation, execution, and communication of residents' care plans.
  4. Conduct regular rounds on nursing units to ensure compliance with established nursing standards and that residents' needs are met.
  5. Oversee documentation practices of nursing staff, addressing any issues and reporting to the Director of Nursing.
  6. Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.

Personnel Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with interdepartmental personnel and other facility departments to ensure services meet residents' needs.
  2. Identify staff needs and facilitate appropriate assignments within established staffing patterns.
  3. Hold regular meetings with staff to identify and resolve issues and enhance service quality.
  4. Function as a staff nurse or provide direct care as needed to meet residents' requirements.

Compensation: Up to $83,000 - $85,000
