Job Overview

We are seeking an Onboard Signaling Test Technician to support our team in carrying out vehicle retrofit and signaling testing. The main role will be to execute test activities over onboard/railway systems, ensuring compliance with standards, regulations, and local laws.

The successful candidate will work closely with engineers to troubleshoot wayside/railway systems and equipment, identifying root causes of failures and integration issues. This includes maintaining and providing on-site maintenance to railway systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Execute tests and troubleshoot failures and NCRs
  • Support the hydraulic/mechanical installation and testing of track switches
  • Record NCRs and report results to system validation and the punch list roll-out

Requirements:

  • Technical degree in electrical or electronic engineering
  • Minimum 4 years of previous relevant experience as a test engineer, transit signaling, and wayside systems
  • Experience in subsystems such as VATC (principal), ATP, ATO, ATS, Radio, and Network
  • Installation, Testing, and Commissioning
  • Railway experience is a plus
