Job Summary

We're looking for a skilled Handyman Professional to complete small to medium maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects. As a Handyman Professional, you'll be responsible for communicating with customers to understand their needs, managing expectations, and delivering a great experience that wows life-long repeat customers.

Responsibilities
  • Completing Maintenance & Repairs: You'll be responsible for completing small to medium maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects, ranging from two hours to two days.
  • Making Recommendations and Managing Expectations: You'll communicate with customers to help them understand what they need to have done and manage expectations about the scope of work and costs.
  • Create Life-Long Customers: Deliver a great experience that wows life-long repeat customers by following the Mr. Handyman Way - a repeatable process that makes it easy to wow the customer every time.
Performance Metrics
  • Customer Satisfaction (NPS): For every job, you'll encourage customers to complete a survey for them to rate their satisfaction with the service. You'll need both a high response rate and high satisfaction rate.
  • Revenue Target: Our office gets you in the door, and it's your job to stay there and find additional ways to be of service to the customer.
  • Effective Billing Rate: It's your responsibility to invoice appropriately, source any needed materials, and collect payment from the customer.
  • Recall Percentage: We guarantee all our work for one year. The work needs to be done correctly, the first time.
Requirements
  • Clear Communication: You'll need to communicate effectively with customers and our office team.
  • Highly Skilled Craftsman: You'll need to have strong proficiency in at least three (3) of the following areas: Carpentry work, Bathroom improvements, Kitchen improvements, Painting, Drywall work, General plumbing and electrical, Floor installation and refurbishing.
  • Problem Solver: You'll need to be able to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Eager to Work: You'll need to be motivated and eager to take on new challenges.
  • Exceeds Customer's Expectations: You'll need to deliver a great experience that exceeds customer expectations.
  • Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team: You'll need to be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits and Pay

The pay range for this position is $25,000 to $50,000 and is dependent on your experience as a professional handyman as well as your experience with other home repair and maintenance projects. We also provide paid holidays, vacation, and 401K benefits and matching.
