Job Title: Vice President-IT Security and InfrastructureJob Summary

A-G Specialty Insurance, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of IT Security and Infrastructure to lead our security strategy and infrastructure. This role is critical in securing our IT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with IT best practices and SOX standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy that aligns with business goals and industry regulations.
  • Lead all cybersecurity efforts to protect sensitive client data and proprietary information.
  • Manage a high-performing team responsible for overseeing the entire IT infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Ensure robust measures are in place across all platforms to protect sensitive data, ensure integrity, reliability, and data governance.
  • Collaborate with executive team and department stakeholders to implement, test, and maintain a robust Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plan.
  • Lead efforts to achieve and maintain SOC2 compliance, ensuring all controls are effectively implemented and monitored.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain IT security policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with SOC2 and industry-specific regulations.
  • Regularly audit and assess security practices and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in IT security management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, SOC2 compliance, and data governance.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD infrastructure, cloud security, AI development support, and analytics security.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and fix security risks.
  • Proven expertise in developing and implementing IT security policies, risk management, and incident response strategies.
  • Working knowledge of security standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework, HIPAA, FFIEC CAT, GDPR).
  • Exceptional leadership, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Clear and concise communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
