Technical Field Specialist

As a Field Service Technician at Multivac USA Inc., you will be responsible for providing technical support and repair services for our packaging and processing equipment at customer facilities in Texas and New Mexico.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment issues at customer sites, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Maintain open communication with customers and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and efficient issue resolution.
- Provide training and support to customers on equipment operation, maintenance, and parts ordering.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation of service activities, including expense reports and time sheets.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures for travel arrangements, expense management, and customer communication.
- Associate degree or equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering, or relevant field service experience.
- Strong technical skills, including electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing situations, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively (up to 90% of the time).
As a Field Service Technician, you will be exposed to various industrial environments, including food processing and packaging facilities. You will work in a fast-paced environment, handling complex equipment and troubleshooting technical issues. The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, lifting up to 50lbs, and working in refrigerator or freezing environments.
