Regional Sales Director

Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for your assigned territory.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Utilize marketing materials, product portfolio, and trade shows to generate and qualify new leads.
- Stay up-to-date on new products and industry trends, leveraging this knowledge to drive sales growth.
- Provide regular sales reports and insights to inform business decisions.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of heavy equipment markets and competitor product lines.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication and negotiation skills to generate, negotiate, and close sales.
- Travel locally and overnight to meet with customers and attend industry events.

- High school diploma or equivalent; previous work-related experience preferred.
- 3+ years of heavy equipment sales experience or related sales experience with a proven track record.
- Proficiency in Microsoft CRM or similar customer relationship management software.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of forestry and recycling industries, heavy equipment sales, or chipping and grinding applications.
