Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize Merry Maids' proprietary cleaning procedures and products to deliver high-quality cleaning services to clients.
  • Clean and sanitize all bathroom fixtures, showers, tubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors, and vanities.
  • Clean kitchen appliances, counters, cabinets, tables, and chairs.
  • Vacuum stairways and clean hard surface floors on hands and knees.
  • Move furniture to clean under and behind, and vacuum upholstered furniture.
  • Carry cleaning products and equipment to and from the office, vehicle, and clients' homes.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and fresh appearance of the office.
  • Perform equipment maintenance and assist the Team Captain in refilling cleaning kits.
  • Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and a commitment to teamwork.
  • Attend and participate in weekly staff meetings.
Requirements
  • Ability to differentiate between variously colored cleaning products.
  • Ability to define specific uses of cleaning products.
  • Ability to read cleaning instructions on customized service reports.
  • Ability to communicate with the Team Captain to ensure client expectations are met.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to drive to and from various job sites as needed.
  • Ability to withstand regular physical contact with allergens, dust, and cleaning solutions.
  • Ability to lift and carry 20 pounds of equipment in and out of an average of 4 homes a day.
  • Ability to perform wet-work on the knees 60% of working time.
  • Ability to reach, pull, and stoop to make beds, operate a vacuum cleaner, and dust furniture.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Current liability insurance on automobile.
Other Criteria
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Ability to pass a motor vehicle records check.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening.
