As a Registered Nurse in the Float Pool at Swedish Medical Center, you will have the opportunity to work across various medical surgical units within the facility. Your shifts will typically be from 7 AM to 7 PM, including rotating weekends and holidays. This role is an excellent chance to enhance your nursing skills and gain diverse experience.
Sign-On Bonus: A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for night shift Registered Nurses.

QualificationsI. Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse is expected to demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills while understanding the unique needs of the patient population served. Each service area requires specialized skills, and care delivery is tailored to meet the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs of individual patients. The Registered Nurse may rotate to different areas beyond their assigned service area and will perform only those duties for which they have demonstrated competency.
II. Position Requirements:
A. Licensure/Certification:
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado or active multistate nursing licensure is required. BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA or ARC are also necessary.
B. Education:
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required, with a BSN strongly preferred.
C. Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of acute care RN experience is required, with the ability to articulate and demonstrate appropriate nursing theory and practice.
D. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong organizational skills are essential. The Registered Nurse must provide safe and appropriate patient care in alignment with the Values & Standards of Nursing Practice at Swedish Medical Center. Effective communication and problem-solving skills are critical for positive interactions with all internal and external stakeholders.
