Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Painter/Blaster to join our team at Konecranes. As a key member of our Paint Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality paint finishes on our equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply prepared primers and paints to components to achieve a smooth and even finish.
- Operate paint booth, painting, and blasting equipment to ensure efficient and safe production.
- Maintain spraying equipment and booths in working condition, and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
- Operate crane and forklifts to move equipment and materials around the facility.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of paint and supplies, and ensure a clean and orderly work area.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in painting and blasting operations preferred.
- Airless and Conventional Paint Sprayer experience preferred.
- Visual acuity to read directions and prints to inspect parts closely.
- Physical ability to perform work requiring frequent stooping and bending.
- Physical strength to lift and carry 50 pounds.
