Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Painter/Blaster to join our team at Konecranes. As a key member of our Paint Department, you will be responsible for sand blasting and painting operations, applying prepared primers and paints to components, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow all KC Safety Directives & Guidelines.
  • Sand Blast and Painting Operations.
  • Apply prepared primers and paints to components.
  • Adjust equipment to obtain the finished requirements.
  • Operate paint booth, painting, and blasting equipment.
  • Maintain spraying equipment and booths in working conditions.
  • Operate crane and forklifts.
  • Maintain inventory of paint and supplies.
  • Maintain clean and orderly work area including equipment and performs all assignments in a safe manner and in accordance with established procedures.
  • Other duties assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • 1 to 2 years experiences preferred.
  • Airless and Conventional Paint Sprayer experience preferred.
