Key Responsibilities
  • System Design and Development: Design and develop end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle, using a holistic approach.
  • Requirements Generation: Generate quantifiable requirements based on customer description, system planning and design, and acquisition logistics.
  • Verification and Validation: Ensure requirements comply with client requirements and government standards through formal verification methods.
  • Interface Design: Design interfaces and bring system elements together so they work as a whole, assessing performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.
  • Customer Liaison: Provide customer liaison and support for business development activities and to understand and shape requirements.
  • Documentation: Participate in system conceptual design and documentation of the design concepts, and translate high-level product development strategies into system requirement specifications.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Participate in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements through compliance verification and validation, and generate system-level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures.
Functional Responsibilities
  • Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS technologies.
  • Project Management: Develop project definitions and engineering estimates to include cost estimates and cost-benefit analyses.
  • Implementation: Manage/perform implementation for technical solutions built.
  • Technical Refresh and Life Cycle Planning: Provide inputs on technical refresh and life cycle planning for assigned systems.
  • Development Life Cycle: Participate in all phases of the development life cycle with emphasis on the planning, analysis, testing, and acceptance phases.
  • Reporting and Communication: Design and prepare technical reports and related documentation, prepare briefings, and prepare updates on project/task status.
  • Configuration Management: Prepare purchase requests and configuration management documentation.
  • Integrated Product Team Meetings: Attend Integrated Product Team meetings with the government to learn of new requirements.
  • Customer Interchanges: Require frequent interchanges with the customer to determine customer needs and ensure what is implemented meets those needs.
  • Performance Monitoring: Perform performance monitoring and provide documentation of issues and recommendations to the Service Delivery team.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 10 years of experience, may have supervisory or lead experience.
  • Certifications: Must be able to obtain one of the following within the first five months of hire: Security + CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP.
  • Clearance: Top Secret SCI security clearance.
