Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to Safety Protocols: Follow company safety policies and procedures to ensure personal safety and the safety of fellow employees.
  • Material Handling: Perform loading and unloading of raw materials and products in a manner that ensures the safety of plant personnel and the environment.
  • Production Monitoring: Accomplish daily production goals, monitor process operations, and ensure environmental compliance.
  • Sample Delivery: Deliver production samples to the laboratory as required.
  • Process Improvement: Inform the Plant Manager of mechanical and process problems that require plant or operating procedure changes to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Documentation: Complete process log sheets, check sheets, and other paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Inspect equipment and report malfunctions that require repairs to the Production Supervisor.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and orderly plant environment.
  • Packaging and Storage: Package final products in accordance with plant policies and procedures, and store them properly in the warehouse.
  • Escorting and Communication: Escort outside contract personnel in the plant and keep the Production Manager informed of deviations from normal process parameters.
