Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy leadership team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, managing pharmacy operations, and leading a team of pharmacy professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Experience: Engage with patients to provide empathetic and personalized care, ensuring a positive experience and promoting the use of healthcare services.
  • Operations: Manage pharmacy operations, including prescription filling, recordkeeping, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Leadership: Lead and develop a team of pharmacy professionals, providing coaching, training, and performance management to ensure excellent patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Business Performance: Analyze performance data, identify trends, and implement strategies to improve pharmacy financials, customer service, and inventory management.
Requirements
  • BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree from an accredited educational institution.
  • Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
  • Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
  • At least 1 year pharmacy experience, including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software, and technology systems, and insurance billing.
