Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform policy decisions
  • Develop and compose policy documents, including DoD policy drafts and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Lead a team of three personnel in policy development, creation, and editing
  • Edit functional descriptions, system specifications, and technical activities
  • Conduct policy research relevant to SAP and related secure programs
  • Organize material and complete writing assignments according to set standards
  • Establish editorial standards and work with the client Front Office to develop a consistent style and language
  • Manage schedules, assignments, and meetings associated with narratives and submissions
Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in writing policy and 4 years of related management experience
  • At least 6 years of experience supporting the DoD or IC in policy or related management functions
Desired Skills
  • Master's degree in policy or technology-related field
  • Policy experience related to SAP or similar programs
  • Experience as a titled manager or policy creations leader/officer
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
