Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager

Fraser Engineering Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing activities related to construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with foremen to plan and direct construction projects
  • Ensure employees follow established rules and act in the best interest of Fraser Engineering
  • Establish project objectives, policies, and procedures within company policy and contract specifications
  • Confer with foremen to discuss work procedures, complaints, and construction problems
  • Responsible for ensuring proper permits and initiating liaison with owners and other contacts
  • Monitor and control project through administrative direction of on-site foremen
  • Investigate and implement corrective measures for safety hazards, schedule delays, and expense issues
  • Represent company in project meetings and attend strategy meetings
  • Work with Controller to manage financial aspects of contracts and maintain good relationships with customers
Requirements:
  • A High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED), or Vocational School Training with four to ten years related experience
  • Computer Skills: Various Construction Software, Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Certificates & Licenses: Valid Driver's License, 10 Hour OSHA Certification
  • Proficient in utilizing internal programs, forms, and processes, database maintenance, report generation, and complex spreadsheet tools for budgets and schedules
  • Experience in a variety of HVAC /Plumbing/Mechanical system designs and ability to read architectural, structural, mechanical plans P&ID's
