Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Fraser Engineering. As an Estimator, you will play a critical role in preparing and submitting bids for construction projects, working closely with our project team to ensure accurate and timely estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and evaluate Requests for Estimates to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Collaborate with the COO and project team to develop and submit bids for construction projects
  • Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather information for estimates
  • Prepare and review estimates, including quantity take-offs and material pricing
  • Communicate with clients and project team members to ensure timely and effective project execution
  • Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure accurate and competitive estimates

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • 10 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with estimating software and ability to adapt to new software as required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
