Overview:

As a Software Asset Management Analyst at Ivory Systems, you will play a crucial role in the effective oversight and strategic management of our software portfolio. Your primary objective will be to enhance the value and efficiency of our Software and SaaS investments while minimizing associated risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update accurate Software Licensing data in centralized repositories to support budgeting, compliance, inventory management, contracts, and cost control.
  • Collaborate with Software Owners to oversee enterprise License true-up and reconciliations, providing assistance during software publisher audits and facilitating dispute resolution.
  • Identify potential cost savings through software re-harvesting and license optimization initiatives.
  • Respond to inquiries from software owners, end users, managers, developers, and team members regarding specific Software Asset Management information.
  • Stay updated on new and revised software licensing models and options for major software manufacturers.
  • Proactively evaluate risks and cost reduction opportunities, making informed recommendations to Software Owners and leadership to enhance the software asset portfolio.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Familiarity with Asset Management tools and technologies, with experience in ServiceNow SAM Pro being essential; Flexera experience is a plus.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Software Asset Management principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of product use rights for key publishers such as Microsoft, Adobe, SAP, Salesforce, and Oracle.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather, organize, and interpret large volumes of information.
  • Understanding of hardware technology and configurations, including virtualization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to navigate and work effectively within a matrixed organizational structure.
