The Quality Assurance Manager at SoLa Impact is essential in supervising and directing quality assurance activities within our innovative manufacturing environment. This role encompasses the establishment and upkeep of quality assurance frameworks, ensuring adherence to industry standards, and spearheading initiatives for ongoing enhancement of product excellence.
- Salary Range: $120,000-$140,000
ABOUT SoLa Impact
SoLa Impact is a pioneering organization committed to transforming multifamily housing through the creation of standardized, modular units. Our goal is to deliver high-quality, affordable housing solutions that are both scalable and sustainable, addressing housing challenges in underserved communities. As a majority Black-owned enterprise, SoLa Impact is set to launch the first standardized modular housing factory in its region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and uphold a Quality Assurance System that aligns with industry standards
- Create and implement quality control protocols
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to adapt to regulatory changes
- Conduct thorough audits and inspections to ensure compliance
- Initiate corrective and preventive measures to enhance product quality
- Engage with suppliers to ensure the quality of materials
- Analyze performance data to inform decision-making
- Provide training on quality assurance standards
- Promote a culture of quality awareness throughout the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or over 10 years of experience in quality management
- Proven experience in a quality leadership position within manufacturing
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards
Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional communication abilities
- Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Capability to work autonomously and adapt to a dynamic environment
- Effective time management and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
