Job Summary

Columbia Helicopters is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Flight Operations Administrator to join our team. This role will be responsible for coordinating and communicating schedules for pilots and other Flight Ops assigned field personnel, monitoring and tracking compliance with all Flight and Duty time regulations, and coordinating activities with various departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and communicate schedules for pilots and other Flight Ops assigned field personnel
  • Monitor and track compliance with all Flight and Duty time regulations, adjusting schedules as necessary
  • Coordinate activities with Travel, HR, Overseas Processing, and Flight Ops Training departments
  • Perform clerical tasks assigned by the Director of Flight Ops, Chief Pilot, or Assistant Chief Pilot
  • Keep the Chief and Assistant Chiefs informed of all pertinent information coming in from the field
  • Verify pilot qualifications are current before scheduling and monitor for expiration during assignment
  • Process pilot applications for customers annually and as necessary for new projects
  • Maintain currency of CHI Operations Exemptions and Authorizations, such as NAFTA and CH-47D Exemptions
  • Accountability for Aviation Life Support Equipment, including Life Vests, Flight Suits, and hoist equipment
  • Assist with coordination of overseas Ferry Flights and coordinate with 3rd Party Agencies
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Director of Flight Ops and Chief Pilot
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • 1-2 years' experience in a challenging office/administrative environment is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present ideas, concepts, and proposals to a wide range of audiences
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
  • Above-average proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn customized computer programs
  • Conduct oneself in accordance with Columbia Helicopters' Core Values
  • Must meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) as a U.S. Person
