Key Duties:

• Identify and pursue leads from independent facilities with pharmaceutical waste management requirements.

• Develop and execute a thorough sales strategy to promote our pharmaceutical waste management services.

• Engage in proactive sales discussions with potential clients via calls, emails, and other communication methods.

• Deliver consultative sales presentations to effectively convey the benefits of our pharmaceutical waste management services.

• Collaborate with clients to assess their specific waste management needs and propose tailored service solutions.

• Maintain precise and comprehensive records of sales activities, leads, and client interactions utilizing Salesforce CRM technology.

• Provide regular updates to senior management regarding sales progress and performance metrics.

• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and facility-specific waste management requirements to enhance client service.


Qualifications Required:

• Demonstrated experience in sales, with a history of achieving or surpassing sales targets.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, and the capability to use it effectively.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.

• Self-driven and goal-oriented.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in pharmaceutical sales or within the healthcare sector.

• Understanding of pharmaceutical facilities and their specific operational needs.

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical waste management regulations and compliance standards.


Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Associate degree (or equivalent) preferred.

• Minimum of 1 year experience with Microsoft Office.

• Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CRM software.


Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work from an office desk during a standard 8-hour workday, utilizing computer systems and other office equipment.

• Maintain target call volume, demonstrating sustained focus and attention during client communications.

• Occasional travel may be necessary for conferences and industry events.


Reporting Structure:

• The Pharmaceutical Waste Management Sales Specialist will report to the Rx Disposal Program Manager and will work closely with other sales personnel and account managers.


Performance Metrics:

• Success in this role will be assessed based on the effective conversion of leads into accounts and the generation of waste management orders from those accounts.

• Foster and maintain client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
