Job Overview

The Patient Registration Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless experience for patients and their families during the registration process. This position requires a commitment to delivering exceptional service while managing the administrative tasks associated with patient admissions.

Work Schedule
  • Full Time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.; Occasionally 8:15 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.
  • Saturday shifts from 6:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a welcoming environment for patients, family members, and visitors during the pre-admission and registration processes.
  • Facilitate the registration of both inpatient and outpatient individuals as necessary.
  • Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately, obtaining necessary signatures and distributing forms appropriately.
  • Review and verify all paperwork for completeness and correctness before it is processed.
  • Assist in central scheduling and manage point-of-service collections and estimates.
Qualifications
  • Willingness to work on weekends and holidays as required.
  • Adaptability in scheduling to accommodate departmental needs.
Educational Background
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience
  • Prior experience in admissions or registration is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with medical insurance processes is preferred.
