Senior Mobile Technician

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison with the Project Manager and Commissioning Manager to ensure all SolBank responsibilities are met.
- Oversee and synchronize the commissioning schedule for SolBank, ensuring the necessary workforce is available.
- Manage the allocation of contracted personnel according to the project timeline and oversee their funding and onboarding processes.
- Provide training for new Service Technicians on the commissioning processes for SolBank.
- Implement QR codes on SolBank units and ensure they are registered in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Educate technicians and contractors on the effective use of CMMS.
- Serve as the on-site leader for new projects, representing Services while ensuring compliance with scheduling, safety, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with Field Service Supervisors to facilitate a seamless transition to Operations.
- Offer technical guidance in the field for Service Technicians, Field Supervisors, and the Service Department.
- Address challenges during SolBank transportation, including repair needs and damage evaluations.
- Contribute to the development of procedures and continuous improvement strategies.
- Conduct on-site training sessions for Service Technicians focused on commissioning and maintenance tasks.
- Provide hands-on diagnostic and troubleshooting support to ensure equipment reliability and meet availability and capacity commitments.
- Develop and refine operational procedures and processes.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and policies.
- Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Certified Electrical Technician.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a service-oriented environment, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
- OSHA 30 Certification is required.
- Ability to translate technical information into clear manuals and procedures.
- Experience with inverters is essential.
- Knowledge of SCADA systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with general and national codes, medium voltage power systems, and Energy Storage system applications is beneficial.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Experience with CMMS software is preferred.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is necessary.
- First Aid certification is required.
- Willingness to travel to various regional locations as needed (over 50% of the time).
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Exhibit a professional demeanor and conduct at all times.
