Full-Time Physical Therapist Position in Washington, D.C.

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team in Washington, D.C. As a key member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide high-quality outpatient services to clients, empowering them to age in place with confidence and dignity.
Responsibilities:
- Make regular visits to clients in designated senior living communities.
- Perform diagnostic tests and measurements, such as mobility assessments, transfer status evaluations, stability testing, ambulation analysis, strength and endurance evaluations, balance assessments, and safety evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance interventions, and other tailored therapies.
- Continuously assess and revise the Physical Therapy plan of care, participating in multidisciplinary care plan meetings as needed.
- Educate and instruct clients, family members, or community staff on therapy services and activities promoting client health, safety, and independent living.
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations related to client care management and services provided using state-of-the-art touch pad tablets.
Requirements:
- A current Virginia Physical Therapist license.
- Outpatient experience preferred but not required.
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
- The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Dynamic interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
Compensation:
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career advancement.
