Occupational Therapist Position in Washington, D.C.

We are excited to offer a full-time occupational therapist position in a dynamic school district in Washington, D.C. for the upcoming school year.
About the Role- This onsite position involves supporting students' development by helping them overcome challenges in the classroom and daily life.
- You will assess, plan, and deliver occupational therapy services to students with varying disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in small groups to address physical, sensory, and cognitive needs.
- Track and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Support and train school staff on integrating therapy techniques into the classroom.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Active Occupational Therapy license in Washington, D.C. (or ability to obtain one before the start date).
- Previous experience working in an educational setting is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary ($62,000 - $80,000 per year), paid weekly.
