Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at ORA Orthopedics. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in surgery by anticipating the need for surgical instruments and supplies
  • Practice sterile technique to maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Take the lead in the orientation and education of new staff and students, as directed
  • Inspect operating rooms for cleanliness and equipment condition; stock and maintain rooms with adequate supplies
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • Surgical Technologist Certification is preferred
  • One year of prior surgical technician experience is preferred, however, new graduates are welcome
  • Knowledge of basic surgical technology principles and protocols is required
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
