Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at ORA Orthopedics. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians in surgery by anticipating the need for surgical instruments and supplies.
- Practice sterile technique to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Take the lead in the orientation and education of new staff and students, as directed.
- Inspect operating rooms for cleanliness and equipment condition; stock and maintain rooms with adequate supplies.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Surgical Technologist Certification is preferred.
- One year of prior surgical technician experience is preferred, however, new graduates are welcome.
- Knowledge of basic surgical technology principles and protocols is required.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with patients, families, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
