Job Overview

The Athletic Field Maintenance Team Member plays a crucial role in overseeing designated areas and ensuring that Prestigious Turf & Landscape Solutions, Inc. (PTLS) meets its high-quality standards for all tasks. This position also involves executing minor irrigation tasks and repairs. The Team Member will collaborate closely with the Assistant General Manager (AGM) and the General Manager (GM) on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities

Team Member Responsibilities (90%)

  • Ensure that PTLS's quality benchmarks are achieved at all assigned locations;
  • Establish work pace and ensure the team remains focused;
  • Confirm that team members are utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE);
  • Foster a positive work atmosphere that encourages collaboration and reduces conflicts;
  • Complete designated work orders and service requests;
  • Communicate work order requirements (e.g., material needs, scheduling, staffing) with management;
  • Maintain an inventory of tools and materials for the team;
  • Organize and store tools and materials appropriately;
  • Report any equipment issues to the maintenance team;
  • Keep equipment clean and in safe operational condition;
  • Engage professionally with all clients and colleagues.

Administrative Responsibilities (10%)

  • Utilize billing software (e.g., VendorTrax) for task lists and client communication;
  • Process service requests through VendorTrax;
  • Conduct monthly inventory assessments.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel to various sites;
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk;

Qualifications

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to adhere to policies and procedures as outlined in the Company's Employee Handbook. Education
  • Required: Basic reading, writing, and math skills typically associated with a high school diploma or equivalent.
Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations
  • Required: Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
Work Experience
  • Required: Experience in landscaping, sports turf, or the golf industry.
  • Required: Clean driving record and capability to operate a truck and trailer.
