Job Title: Nuclear Mechanical Planner

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Mechanical Planner to join our team at Automation and Control Strategies Group, INC. dba ACS Profession. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and preparing mechanical work packages for large- and small-scale projects to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare work instructions for mechanical and contract maintenance organizations.
  • Select and approve purchase or make procurement recommendations for materials needed for work package execution.
  • Conduct field walkdowns to identify and analyze maintenance, modification, and surveillance activities.
  • Interface and collaborate with Work Management, Supply, Operations, and Engineering to resolve work package issues.
  • Define procedures, drawings, equipment, and materials required for planned work packages.
  • Facilitate package preparation by preparing and/or submitting required documentation.
  • Verify work instructions are adequate and comply with applicable station procedures.
  • Approve and review work packages to ensure safety, quality, and technical rigor.
  • Develop, revise, and review maintenance procedures to maintain compliance with codes and standards.
  • Provide project management of other system planners or contractors to develop detailed elements of overall package preparation.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of six years of experience in a technical area.
  • OR An associate's degree from an accredited college or university and eight years of experience in a technical area.
  • OR A high school diploma or GED and technical training or education similar to that acquired through an in-grade apprenticeship program for maintenance related work.
