We are seeking a skilled Project Engineering Manager to become a vital part of our team at Synopsys.
Role Responsibilities:
In this capacity, you will oversee project management for digital implementation initiatives within the IP domain.
Key Qualifications:
- A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE/BSEE) or Civil Engineering (MSCE/BSCE) with over 7 years of specialized experience in Micro-electronics.
- Previous experience in ASIC physical design, customer engagement, or project management is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas at various levels of complexity.
- Strong organizational capabilities.
- Proficient understanding of industry-standard data file formats such as Verilog, GDS, LEF, DEF, SDF, LIB, UPF, CPM, and CMM.
- Familiarity with Unix, Perforce, and Excel is beneficial.
Job Duties:
- Comprehend and convey project requirements related to digital implementation from RTL to GDS.
- Communicate project scope effectively to functional managers and design leads, and prepare project initiation documentation.
- Negotiate deliverables and timelines for inter-team transitions in collaboration with product managers and cross-functional teams.
- Develop a project schedule with key milestones, facilitate weekly meetings with product managers and cross-functional teams to monitor progress and address issues, ensuring timely and quality releases.
- Serve as the primary contact for any issues arising from the field.
- Occasionally engage with customers regarding the Digital Implementation sector.
