Job Overview

The Rose Transition Home LLC is in search of a skilled and dedicated Lead Clinical Therapist to become an integral part of our committed therapeutic team. As a Lead Clinical Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in our distinctive therapeutic approach, overseeing both group and individual therapy sessions in a supportive and compassionate setting.

Key Responsibilities

The Lead Clinical Therapist is responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments upon client admission, along with ongoing evaluations and mental status assessments to inform treatment planning.
  • Managing insurance authorizations and conducting concurrent reviews to ensure compliance and quality of care.
  • Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
  • Providing individual therapy with a manageable caseload of 8-9 clients.
  • Facilitating family therapy sessions to enhance support systems.
  • Leading group therapy sessions, including the creation of therapeutic lesson plans and facilitating multiple process-oriented groups each week.
  • Implementing crisis intervention strategies and conducting suicide risk assessments as necessary.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions and treatment progress.
Additional Duties

In addition to the primary responsibilities, the Lead Clinical Therapist will:

  • Engage in daily communication through emails and shift notes to remain informed about client progress and team dynamics.
  • Provide supervision and mentorship to clinical interns and practicum students.
  • Participate actively in staff meetings, contributing to case discussions and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with family members and support systems to enhance client care.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master's or Doctorate degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field, with appropriate licensure.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly in trauma and group therapy.
  • Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, and EMDR.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to professionalism and ethical practice.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and respect cultural differences.
