Infrastructure Support Specialist

Omni Inclusive is seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide on-site hands and eyes support for end-users, 3rd party vendors, and IT support groups.
The role requires a minimum of 5 years technical experience and involves providing physical support for IMACs, upgrades, device commissioning and decommissioning, component upgrades, swaps, change-out, basic configuration, troubleshooting, and lights-on verification.
The Infrastructure Support Specialist will also be responsible for performing data center/server room/IT room facilities management operations, including physical support, cabling, and cable management.
Additionally, the successful candidate will understand the installed infrastructure design, perform incident resolution, change management activities, and service request or task completion via the ticketing system.
The role also involves maintaining infrastructure facilities, coordinating with OEM vendors, and managing replacement of faulty parts under warranty, maintenance, and Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
Other responsibilities include managing Data Center logistics, assisting with shipping, provisioning, and decommissioning processes, and acting as the local site interface for vendors.
The successful candidate will also participate in Change Review Board (CRB) meetings, support SWAT team activities, and work with appropriate teams to develop communications to end-users on planned/unplanned outages.
Finally, the Infrastructure Support Specialist will provide rollout and implementation support for projects, new technology programs, and provide infrastructure support for Cyber Security, Business Continuity Plan/Disaster Recovery, and Emergency Response activities.
