Job Summary

Zachry Group is seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter Helper to join our team. As a Pipe Fitter Helper, you will assist experienced pipe fitters in the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipes and piping systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pipe fitters in the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipes and piping systems
  • Perform tasks such as cutting, threading, and assembling pipes and fittings
  • Operate power tools and equipment such as pipe cutters, threading machines, and pipe benders
  • Assist in the preparation of pipes and fittings for installation
  • Perform quality control checks on installed pipes and fittings
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience working as an industrial pipe fitter helper
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Must meet all physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Zachry ROF'ed employee
  • Former Zachry Employee
  • Former industrial construction experience
  • Formal/technical education
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and walk on uneven surfaces
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and work in confined spaces
  • Must be able to work at heights and in all weather conditions
