Position: Registered Nurse

Overview:
A dynamic Surgical GI clinic is seeking a dedicated nurse to join our team. We offer flexible scheduling options, accommodating both part-time and full-time roles. New graduates are welcome to apply, and this position has the potential to transition from temporary to permanent employment.

Schedule:
Our clinic operates 7 days a week, requiring one late shift weekly and rotating weekends (one weekend day).

Weekday Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: Earliest 6:30 AM, latest 9:00 PM
- Friday: Earliest 6:30 AM, latest 7:00 PM

Weekend Hours:
- Saturday: Earliest 6:30 AM, latest 5:00 PM
- Sunday: Earliest 6:30 AM, latest 3:00 PM

Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey RN License (new graduates encouraged)
- ACLS/BLS Certification required
- Experience with NextGen is advantageous but not mandatory
- IV Certification and completion of Telemetry Course are essential

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, direct, and evaluate clinical care for surgical patients in the operating room.
- Engage with patients throughout the endoscopy process.
- Prepare, assemble, and organize necessary equipment and supplies.
- Supervise nursing activities related to patient care, ensuring accurate reporting and documentation of patient symptoms and progress.
- Contribute to the development of patient care policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care management.
- Assist in maintaining adequate inventory levels of supplies, medications, and equipment.
