Job Overview

Position: HR Recruiter

A prominent player in the manufacturing industry is seeking an HR Recruiter to support their expansion efforts. The HR Recruiter will be tasked with sourcing candidates online and organizing interviews. Candidates should possess some HR experience along with strong judgment skills to effectively assess applicants. This role begins on a contract basis, with potential for permanent placement.

Working Hours: 7am to 3:30pm

Compensation: $20-$23/hour

Benefits upon permanent hire: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance; Life insurance; 401K; Paid holidays; Paid vacation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute recruiting strategies utilizing databases and social media to identify candidates for open roles.
  • Proactively engage and attract candidates through networking, social media, the company website, job boards, and recruitment events at educational institutions and regional job fairs.
  • Manage and oversee all phases of the hiring process, including coordinating interviews with the hiring team, conducting drug screenings, and performing background checks.
  • Communicate verbal and written job offers.
  • Ensure effective communication throughout the recruitment process with both the internal hiring team and candidates at all stages.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires using the company's internal systems.
  • Collaborate with managers, supervisors, and the HR team throughout the recruitment process.
  • Serve as a key contact to foster strong candidate relationships during the selection process.
  • Maintain a daily calendar for interviews and safety orientations.
  • Engage with employees regularly to provide support.
  • Conduct exit interviews, employee surveys, stay interviews, and feedback sessions; analyze data to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
  • Offer guidance and expertise to managers regarding employee engagement and retention; assist in developing and implementing employee engagement initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain Personnel and Medical Folders.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two years of experience in recruitment.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated capability to follow through on tasks and complete projects.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficient with technology.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills; effective time management.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Bi-lingual candidates are preferred.
