Job Overview

PRIMARY ROLE:

Deliver comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and evaluative services to patients and healthcare organizations. Responsible for managing both acute and chronic health issues, while also offering education and preventive care strategies. Additionally, provide essential preoperative and postoperative guidance regarding surgical procedures, including preparation and recovery expectations. Triage patient inquiries during and outside of standard operational hours.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Physician Assistant is mandatory.
  • Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program and hold certification to practice in New Jersey.
Certification/Licensure:
  • Certification for the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE) from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Active registration with the New Jersey State Board of Physician Assistants.
  • BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Demonstrated high-level competence as a Physician Assistant along with advanced leadership capabilities.
