Position Overview:
Organizations aiming for effective growth require an external perspective on their operations. Whether establishing a new entity, transforming an existing one, or navigating transitions such as mergers or separations, our clients seek an Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS) mission area consultant. This role involves a deep understanding of the complexities within their mission area and delivering actionable insights on process enhancements, mission effectiveness, and best practices.
We are looking for a seasoned management consultant with the expertise to evaluate all facets of client operations. Your specialized knowledge will guide them toward realizing their organizational aspirations.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the client's organizational structure, daily operations, and performance outcomes.
- Engage with stakeholders to identify effective practices and pinpoint areas needing improvement.
- Formulate and present strategic recommendations to leadership based on thorough analysis.
- Enhance your experience within the Department of Defense (DoD) and the EMS Enterprise while refining your consulting abilities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of consulting experience.
- Familiarity with the DoD or Federal Government operations.
- Proficient in assessing, analyzing, collaborating, and presenting findings and actionable strategies.
- Possession of a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Over 12 years of consulting experience.
- Knowledge of DoD Command, Control, and Communications (C3) along with EMS Policy and Spectrum legislation.
- Experience in data analysis and management.
- Background working with DoD entities, Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, and various services and agencies.
- Understanding of cybersecurity, risk management, cloud infrastructure, machine learning, and project management principles.
- Top Secret clearance.
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
Clearance Requirements:
Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.

The salary for this position is influenced by various factors, including location, education, skills, competencies, and experience. The estimated compensation range is between $75,600.00 and $172,000.00 annually.
