Job Summary

Baker Roofing Company is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Laborer to join our team. As a key member of our roofing crew, you will assist in the installation of metal roofing systems, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of job sites, including cleaning up debris and covering roofs with materials.
  • Operate hand and power tools, such as brushes, knives, punches, hammers, and other equipment.
  • Apply adhesives, caulking, sealants, or coatings to ensure a watertight seal.
  • Meet physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods, using ladders, and lifting materials.
Requirements
  • High School/G.E.D. preferred but not required.
  • General construction experience preferred.
  • Driver's license not required but a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Soldering experience with copper/brass/stainless/mild steel/aluminum.
  • Knowledge of basic safety techniques and procedures.
  • Attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
