Residential Care Provider

At GeorgiaGov, we are seeking a highly skilled Residential Care Provider to join our team at View Point Health Adult Residential Substance Detoxification in Covington, GA. This is a short-term, 24/7 acute care, detox unit that provides medical monitoring and peer/social support for individuals experiencing moderate to severe withdrawal symptoms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor client activity and observe behaviors of adult clients with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring mental health disorders.
  • Report behaviors and provide person-centered care to support clients in their recovery journey.
  • Implement unit programming based on evidence-based practices for substance use detox, brief treatment, and early recovery support.
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to clients.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a related area from an accredited college or university.
  • Eligibility to be licensed.
