Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paramedic to join our team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a Paramedic, you will provide safe and effective care for patients within the scope of practice, in accordance with physician's orders, established standards and administrative policies, as part of the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Function under the direction of the hospital-based Medical Director, who will be the Paramedic Medical Director.
  • Follow the Medical Director's determined scope of practice for the Paramedic within the Acts Allowed specified by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
  • Be on a healthcare team that decides the patient care interventions.
  • Provide quality of care and service to meet the healthcare needs of patients and their families.
Requirements
  • Three years of experience as a Paramedic in an Emergency Department and/or emergency pre-hospital setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to function in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills; Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • High School diploma or GED required within one year of hire.
  • Graduation from an accredited Paramedic Training Program, recognized by Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE).
  • Current registered Paramedic with the State of Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE).
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
  • BLS from the American Heart Association required.

Pay Range

$22.08 to $36.11 per hour.

Shift: Variable.
