YOUR OPPORTUNITY
Join our Tech Ops team in an exciting academy role. This position is integral to our broader operations team, focusing on short-form content distributed globally.
YOUR ROLE
The Technical Operations Academy Specialist will oversee the timely delivery of film and television content for an international audience.
Effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders is essential, along with a meticulous approach to handling sensitive projects delivered globally.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include;Finalizing localized film and entertainment content for international distribution (including graphics insertion, subtitling, and dubbed audio layback)
Encoding and transcoding files to meet various broadcast and online specifications
Producing outputs that adhere to specific film and television technical standards
Editing promotional content for TV spots, social media, and other platforms
Managing content uploads and downloads across various digital asset management systems
Converting frame rates for content to ensure compatibility with global broadcast systems
Collaborating closely with our operations and client services teams
Delivering projects with precision and meeting tight deadlines
Maintaining a focused and methodical approach, even under pressure
Demonstrating quick thinking and problem-solving skills, as there will be instances where independent decision-making is required.
Taking initiative for personal growth and development by embracing new workflows and learning from team members.
While training is provided, the following experience and knowledge will be beneficial:
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, and Audition
Familiarity with digital video file formats and encoding/transcoding software
Experience with online and broadcast video formats
Technical understanding of video and audio signals
Editing experience with the capability to produce diverse content quickly.
