Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Permanent Divisional Accountant to enhance our finance department within the manufacturing sector.

This position is crucial for managing all accounting functions within our division, which includes Cost Accounting, GAAP compliance, financial management, and the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting.


The Permanent Divisional Accountant will play a vital role in the financial oversight of our division, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial records while providing essential insights to aid in strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all accounting operations within the division, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and standards.
  • Generate precise and timely financial reports, including monthly and quarterly corporate submissions.
  • Manage cost accounting processes, delivering insights into cost efficiencies and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and remain informed about updates to accounting standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the finance team and other departments to facilitate strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Monitor the division's financial performance, identifying trends and offering recommendations for enhancements.
  • Prepare and present financial statements and reports to senior management.
  • Contribute to the preparation of the division's annual budget and financial forecasts.
  • Maintain the integrity of financial data by implementing and upholding robust internal controls.

Qualifications:
STRONG EXPERIENCE WITH POWERBI AND EXCEL REPORTING (MACROS, V-LOOKUPS, ETC) IS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar capacity, ideally within the engineering or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting and GAAP is essential.
  • Exceptional financial reporting capabilities, with the ability to produce accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends and provide insights into financial performance.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong organizational skills, adept at managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and other financial management tools.
