We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Nurse Resident to join our team at Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center (ORMC). As a Nurse Resident, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing exceptional patient care to our patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
Responsibilities- Administer bedside patient care in a hospital or inpatient/observation setting under the supervision of a preceptor, leader, and/or charge nurse.
- Assess patients' needs and develop/revised individualized plans of care based on their needs and responses.
- Respect diversity by building respectful relationships with all team members and customers.
- Function as an advocate for patients and their families.
- Communicate and collaborate with medical staff and the interdisciplinary team to effectively plan and manage the unit/department.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or valid Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) multistate RN license.
- Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
- Nursing school graduate.
