  • Distribute and maintain accurate syllabi, and conduct classes punctually.
  • Employ assessment techniques to measure students' performance and engage in professional development.
Student Engagement & Advisement:
  • Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages active and collaborative learning.
  • Encourage a sense of community among students and refer them to support services.
  • Use technology to assist in communication with students and promote a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion:
  • Ensure the College meets its responsibilities in identifying areas of opportunity and systemic concerns.
  • Create a welcoming, inclusive, and productive work and learning environment.
  • Promote and support curriculum development aimed at creating a diverse and equitable learning environment.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Political Science.
  • State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to gain access to work site(s).
  • Prior teaching experience preferred.
Compensation:
  • $55.88 per contact hour.
  • Two hours equals one contact hour.
  • Maximum of 12 contact hours per week.
  • Part-time position.
