The Pharmaceutical Production Specialist is tasked with the operation and upkeep of manufacturing machinery, ensuring precise measurement of raw materials and active components to formulate mixtures, while maintaining cleanliness of both equipment and the production area. This role involves completing necessary work orders and maintaining batch record documentation in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). The specialist is expected to execute documentation with precision and participate in training sessions, including those focused on cGMP and safety protocols. The ability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team framework while strictly following established procedures is essential. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and process biological specimens for laboratory analysis
  • Input data from requisition forms and specimen containers into the laboratory information system
  • Unpack biological samples and arrange them for processing
  • Meticulously document and record relevant information

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION:

  • Completion of high school education
  • Typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute
  • Capability to lift up to 15 pounds over a distance of 40 yards

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with computer systems and barcode scanning technology
  • Competence in Microsoft Word and Excel applications

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • High level of attention to detail

Note:

This position operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5:30 PM, and is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity.
