Job Title: Club Operations Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Club Operations Manager to join our team at Planet Fitness. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our fitness center, ensuring a positive and welcoming environment for our members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of staff members, including Assistant Managers, Member Service Representatives, Trainers, and Custodians.
- Customer Service: Create and maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring staff follows superior customer service guidelines.
- Scheduling: Schedule staff and ensure all shifts are covered, ensuring exceptional customer service at all times.
- Administration: Process all weekly/bi-weekly employee payroll, resolve employee issues or concerns, and manage progressive discipline and termination as needed.
- Facility Maintenance: Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the facility, including taking responsibility for the largest section of cleaning daily.
- Marketing: Manage marketing efforts, ensuring staff is aware and trained on all marketing promotions.
- Financial Management: Authorize expenditures and refunds, make daily bank deposits, and track statistics and reports.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: One to three years of experience in a management role preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership, team building, and coaching skills, with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Physical Demands: Continual standing and walking, continual talking and listening, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
